Additionally, she collaborated with her father and her grandfather's Denver-based real estate company to prepare homes and buildings for the market, remodel them, and fulfill ongoing contracts.
In 2004, Georgia Rivera and her husband, Alex Rivera, embarked on their entrepreneurial journey by establishing Surface Buff. The couple's venture was rooted in their completion of an extensive training and apprenticeship program under the guidance of Maurizio Bertoli, affectionately known as the "Godfather of marble." Drawing from their experience in fabrication and installation, the Riveras transitioned into rehabbing homes and providing invaluable assistance to property managers and real estate agents. Their expertise in finding creative solutions for construction and cosmetic issues made them an indispensable asset in the industry.
