Surface Extended Service Agreement

The extended service plan operates like a membership, offering significant benefits, especially after our restoration services. Upon purchase and signing of the Surface Extended Service Agreement (SESA) and completion of a surface inspection by a Surface Buff technician, the extended service benefits commence.

To maintain an active and valid status, customers must sign up for the Extended Service Agreement and adhere to the care guide rules.

The comprehensive coverage includes an installation inspection by a Surface Buff Expert, sealer application as needed, a complimentary cleaner, free inspections, a care guide, and access to a dedicated surface care professional for support and guidance.

Furthermore, the agreement includes 50% off the first maintenance and a 30% discount for subsequent maintenance, 10% off all products and supplies from our store, and per-visit deductibles, allowing for coverage of multiple issues in a single visit, provided they are reported and claimed within 30 days of occurrence.

Exclusions that the Surface Buff SESA does NOT cover: Any damages caused by neglect, abuse, use of improper products, failure to use the products recommended by Surface Buff, an act of God, damages caused by another contractor or hired help by the owner, damages caused by placing objects or persons that are too heavy for the surface, failure to use appropriate measures to protect the surface from damages (I.e. coasters, recommended regularly scheduled maintenance services, etc.), failure to abide by the Care Guide of Surface Buff, damages caused by shifting or movement of a substrate or building not installed by the listed fabricator/installer on this extended service agreement, damages to surfaces not installed by the listed fabricator/installer on the Surface Buff SESA Enrollment Form.
(These issues MIGHT cancel and void the extended service agreement with no money back.)

MAINTENANCE SERVICES

The extended service plan offers a single 50% discount on maintenance service within 1 year of installation, followed by a 30% discount on regular maintenance services during the contract period.

Maintenance services include:

- Inspection of minerals and ensuring secure installation, including checking for chips, cracks, and caulking integrity (caulking/silicone typically needs replacement every 12 to 18 months).

- Deep cleaning

- Mechanical polish preservation

- Removal of light scratches and etching

- Application of appropriate sealer as needed

- Replacement of caulking/silicone

- Detail buffing

- Product care kit

Please note that any necessary repairs are not included in the scheduled maintenance pricing, and the removal and reinstallation of plumbing fixtures are not covered by Surface Buff's services.

Maintenance pricing starts at $575.00 for kitchen counters, with costs varying based on the surface type and the maintenance area's size. A single vanity maintenance starts at $185, while double vanity maintenance starts at $295.

It is recommended, although not mandatory, for the owner or a licensed plumber to remove plumbing fixtures to ensure their protection and an even refinishing area on the surface. Please be aware that this is at the homeowner's expense, as Surface Buff does not employ any plumbers. Surface Buff can make efforts to blend in hard-to-reach areas by hand if plumbing fixtures have not been removed before service.

Embrace the benefits of the extended service plan and enjoy a 10% discount on Surface Buff cleaning and maintenance supplies and products throughout the term of the agreement.

TRANSFERABLE 

The Extended Service Plan can be transferred once at no cost, increasing the resale value. This renewable contract entails a fixed fee.
